Trip to the Paralympics

On Friday 7th September a group of children from Year 5 and 6 were given the opporutnity to go to the Paralympics! We travelled to the Olympic Park by train and undround with mounting excitement (and some newspaper reading!).

Once everyone had gone through security and had their tickets checked, we headed first of all to the Riverbank Arena to watch Great Britain play 7-a-side football against Argentina (final score 4-3 to Argentina).

Then it was on to Eton Manor to watch Lucy Shuker and Jordanne Whiley win their Bronze Medal match in Wheelchair Tennis.

After a visit to the Megastore we left the Park having had a fabulous day.
