My Money Week

For My Money Week, in Earth class we spent the week learning all things money! First, we played money Pictionary where we had to guess what our classmates were drawing. All the things were money related like a money box, wallet, and even a bank. Then we had a class debate to which items were considered a ‘need’ or a ‘want’ In the end, we struggled to work out if a car and the internet were a need or a want, but everyone had great reasons for both sides of the argument. We ended the week with a look at Jasmin and helped her to spend her money wisely on items she wanted to buy. We learnt about budgeting and keeping track of our spending on her items to make sure we spent as close to £36 without going over. Well done to Maggie, Dylan and Clara for budgeting to exactly £36!
