World Book Day 2022
On Thursday 3rd March we celebrated World Book Day. It was great to see many of the children dress up as their favourite characters, including many dragons, wizards and human-dog hybrids. Throughout the day children completed every tasks linked to the book chosen by Mr Knox called ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ by Drew Daywalt. First children had to write apology letters to their chairs as they decided to quit the class and run away. They quickly came back though once the children apologised for their misuse, then children had an opportunity to create colour poems and colour-muddle murals based on colours used in the story. It was great fun to see the creativity and imagination of the children!
Here is a collection of some of the highlights of our day together.
