Chinese New Year
As part of our topic 'Around the World' Mars class had a fantastic week learning about Asia, particularly Chinese New Year.
We listened to story of the Chinese zodiac, learnt a song, made a giant dragon and small puppet dragons; we made paper lanterns and practiced some calligraphy, as well as tasting some Chinese food and setting up a restaurant in our home corner.
