Measuring
Mars Class have been exploring the concept of measure this term. The children have compared lengths and distances, as well as using non-standard units to measure length, volume and weight. Some children decided to measure how far their paper aeroplanes could fly using their own footprints. Others measured using numicon and multilink, we even used loose parts to measure some lengths. We have also explored capacity and weight, using skills and knowledge which we regularly utilise in the outdoor kitchen and in cookery tasks.
