During Term 2 in Neptune Class, we have been reading the book ‘Escape from Pompeii’ by Christina Balit. We used this as inspiration to write a news report on the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD79 when the city was destroyed and subsequently buried under layers of ash, only to be discovered many year later.
