The Water Cycle
In Neptune class, we have been learning about The Water Cycle in Science and Geography.
We used plastic food bags, water, food colouring and permanent markers to make our own mini water cycles.
First, we drew on the bags with the permanent markers, labelling the water cycle and explaining the process to our learning partner as we drew. Then we carefully poured in some water mixed with blue food colouring to represent the sea. Finally, we sealed the bag and taped them to the windows in the classroom. Immediately water vapour appeared inside the bags as the water was evaporating and condensing on the sides. To cause precipitation, we simply needed to tap the sides of the bag!
