Anglo-Saxon Ship - Art
Back to 2020-21 Saturn Class activities
Saturn Class began Term 1 with a collaborative painting of an Anglo-Saxon ship invading Britain. Each child was given a small square from a cut up picture of a ship. They used their judgement to increase the size to fit on a larger square of paper. Then they painted their square section using water colours.
It was very exciting when we fitted the pieces together to see that the colours and parts fitted together in a very dramatic way. The twenty sections work brilliantly together to capture a very dynamic time in our country’s history.
