On Friday the 5th May St Peter's Primary School had a wonderful day full of coronation fun. The children came to school wearing crowns they had made at home and red, white and blue clothes. During the morning, they learnt more about King Charles III and designed pictures of themselves wearing a crown. The pictures are being made into class tea towels, which will be available to purchase soon, along with other memorabilia of the coronation. In the afternoon, the school joined together for a special celebration assembly and sang the national anthem before heading out onto the field for a whole school golden time play. Mr Knox had created a sound track and we all loved dancing and playing in the sunshine on the field.
