This term, Mercury class have been learning about creating 3D art using different painting and mixed media techniques. We first looked at creating different tints and shades using primary colours mixed with black or white paint. We then used this skill to create shapes that look more 3D based on the lighting we had on an object. Finally, we created our own PE related composition and painted it using a specific painting technique and our knowledge of tints and shades. Here is a collection of our final pieces.
