2023 - 2024

We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold level Mark Award for the 2023/24 academic year. This is our 3rd year in a row achieving this standard!

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Boys' Championship League Football 2023/24

St. Peter's is taking part in the Boys Championship League Football.

1st November

On 1st November 2023 we played our first match of the season against Bidborough:-

Last week, on Wednesday 1st November, we played a football match against Bidborough Primary School. After school, our team headed up to Hawkenbury Astroturf, ready to play. After getting onto the pitch, we warmed up for a few minutes before discussing our positions. Once the match started, we knew we were in for a tough game. In the first 30 seconds, they had scored two goals. However hard we tried, we couldn't get a goal of our own. The match ended with a defeat for us but we learned a lot from the game. At least we tried our best! By Jasper and Henryk.

St Peter’s played on the Nevill Cricket Ground, a famous ground and England has once played there! The weather was ideal and there was not a cloud in the sky.

We did not win but we did extraordinarily well and even came second in our group! I enjoyed the experience and I keep my hopes up for next time.
