We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the School Games Gold level Mark Award for the 2023/24 academic year. This is our 3rd year in a row achieving this standard!

The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme launched in 2012, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust to reward schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and we are delighted to have been recognised for our success.

Girls Tag Rugby

On Wednesday 2nd October St Peter's entered a Girls Tag Rugby event. With support from Darren and The Tonbridge Juddians Rugby Club the children in Y 3,4,5 and 6 from Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells schools went and experienced a non-competitive tag rugby festival which will included a carousel of skills and drills, finishing with some friendly games.

The girls had a wonderful time. Well done for taking part to: Lily, Charlotte, Clara, Holly, Ada, Claudia, Emmy, Anya, Peggy, Hazel and Robyn.

Basketball

On Tuesday 12th November St Peter's took part in an Inter-school Basketball competition. Alex, Henry S, Hamish, Daniel A, Siya and Ella made up the team.  The competition was held at Leigh Academy in Tonbridge. The team played brilliantly and they had a lot of fun! A special well done to Siya and Ella who had to play all of the matches as the rules stated we needed two girls on the court at all times!

Football

St Peter's has again entered the Primary Schools Championship which is run by MSporti each year. It is an inter-school championship.

Our first match was against Speldhurst away. We played really well against a very good opposition. The score was 5-0 to Speldhurst which was a tough start to the season but onwards and upwards!

Well done to the team:- Daniel A, Jason D, Sameed, Artie, George K, Henry O, Charlie R, Hamish, Isaac, Lockie.

Netball

St Peter's is playing in the Inter-School Netball league organised through MSporti.

Our first match was against St John's netball team at home. We won 12-4! It was a great game and we learnt a lot in our first game of the season. Well played everyone: Alex H, Hamish W, Cyrus, Dakota, Ada, Eva, Clara and Claudia.

Our second match was against Speldhurst and again was a home match. We narrowly lost 3-4 to Speldhurst, it was a very close game and was super exciting to watch! Well done to the team: Eva, Ada, Cyrus, Hamish, Alex, Clara, Claudia and Lily.

Cross Country

On Monday 11th November, Charlie R, Luke A, Ella L, Mabel R, Tilly G and Bruno S attended the Inter-School Primary Cross Country event held at Skinners Boys Sports Field. They did really well and came 10th out of 16 schools.

For a lot of them, this was the first time they had attended a Cross Country event and they all had a fantastic time! Well done!
